Anna Sims is a freelance journalist and essayist who teaches at the University of Nebraska and serves as book reviews editor at The Linden Review. She was previously an associate editor at The Warren Group, a publishing company in Boston.

She writes about pop culture specifically and culture more generally and likes writing about politics, health, and feminism, too. Anna grew up in Des Moines, Iowa; studied journalism and English at Boston University; and got her MFA in creative writing from Emerson College.
